Recreation- The foundation of our program.  Teams are comprised of Midland Park children or children attending school in Midland Park.  Age appropriate, children are taught instructional as well as good sportsmanship.  All players are guaranteed playing time.  League runs from January through March.

 

“Parents, Coaches and Spectators’ Code of Conduct”

·         I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for my child participating in youth sports

·         I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches and officials.

·         I will place the emotional and physical well being of my child ahead of a personal desire to win.

·         I will support coaches and officials working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable

  experience for all.

·         I will demand a sports environment for my child that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol, and will refrain

  from their use at all youth sports events.

·         I will remember that the game is for youth’s NOT for adults.

·         I will do my very best to make youth sports fun for my child.

·         I will ask my child to treat other players, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability.

·         I will help my child enjoy the youth sports experience by doing whatever I can, such as being a respectable fan.

 

I /We the parent(s) of the below –named youngster who is a candidate for a player position on a M.P.B.A team. Hereby give my/our approval to his/her

participation in any or all the activities of M.P.B.A. during the current season.  I/We assume all risk and hazards incidentals to the conduct of the activities and transportation to and from the activities. I /We hereby release absolve indemnify and hold harmless M.P.B.A.   The organizers, sponsors or any of the

 supervisors appointed by them.  Registration fees include group insurance.  M.P.B.A insurance is secondary; all bills must be submitted first to your primary

carrier.  I/We have read and understand the Code of Conduct below and agree to abide by its terms and conditions.

All Coaches and Assistants must be certified by the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y clinic and be on the Midland Park Board of recreation’s list of certified coaches.   If you are not registered and would like to be please email Hotshotsrf@optonline.net  for class availability.
