Umpires- In an effort to avoid discrepancies we are encouraging teams to utilize the umpire service of the Bergen County Association of Softball Umpires (201-444-0430).  This is the service that Midland Park, Ridgewood, Ramsey, Mahwah and the majority of the league use for its home games.  A representative will be present at the league meeting for questions.

All home teams are responsible to provide registered / carded umpires at their games; Senior Divisions are encouraged to supply two umpires.  Playoff games will require two umpires and Midland Park will provide (2) such umpires at all Championship games.

The Midland Park Summer League is a town all-star league and is not open to club teams.  We encourage that all players must reside in town however we understand that some towns might have trouble completing a roster. The following are the eligibility rules that the Midland Park Summer will follow for the season.

1.      All players must reside in the town they are playing for, unless approved by the Midland Park Summer League.

2.      No team will be granted permission to use a player from a town that has a team participating in the Midland Park Summer League unless permission is granted from that town.
